And apparently the offending words have been changed from 'queer' and 'here' to 'gay' and 'away'...
And the meaning is exactly the same. Somehow I get the impression that Opera North and the school realized that the bad press was a major problem for them and negotiated the nearest face-saving opportunity that presented itself.
Are you off seeing operas during the summer?
